Cookie Policy
Last updated: .
This Cookie Policy explains the current use of cookies and similar browser technologies on The WIT Group Ltd website.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files that a website may place on a visitor’s device.
Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, tracking pixels and other browser identifiers that can remember information, provide functionality or measure how a website is used.
2. What this website currently uses
Our review of the website’s current application code found that it does not intentionally set:
- application cookies;
- local storage;
- session storage;
- analytics or visitor-measurement tools;
- advertising, retargeting or behavioural-profiling technologies;
- social-media tracking pixels; or
- embedded third-party media that sets non-essential cookies.
3. Contact form and Resend
The contact form uses temporary on-page state while you complete and submit it. This information is not saved to cookies, local storage or session storage.
When you submit the form, the information is sent to our website server and passed server-side to Resend for transactional email delivery.
The visitor’s browser does not connect directly to Resend as part of the form submission, and Resend does not set website cookies in the visitor’s browser through this form.
The personal-information processing associated with the form and Resend is explained in our Privacy Policy.
4. Essential website infrastructure
The hosting, content-delivery and security infrastructure used to provide the website may process ordinary connection information or use strictly necessary technical measures to:
- deliver requested pages;
- route and balance traffic;
- maintain security;
- prevent abuse; and
- diagnose technical problems.
Such measures are not used by The WIT Group Ltd for visitor analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking.
If the production hosting platform sets any strictly necessary cookie, it may do so without consent where the relevant legal exemption applies. Information about any such cookie will be added to this policy once confirmed.
5. Cookie consent
Because the website does not currently use non-essential cookies or similar browser-storage technologies, it does not display a cookie-consent banner.
If analytics, advertising, embedded media or another non-essential technology is introduced, we will assess the applicable consent requirements and update the website and this policy before enabling that technology.
Where consent is required, the relevant technology will not be enabled before the visitor has made a valid choice.
6. Managing cookies
Most browsers allow visitors to view, block or delete cookies through their settings.
Blocking strictly necessary technologies can affect the operation of some websites. Browser providers publish their own instructions for managing these settings.
7. Changes and contact
We may update this policy if the website’s technology or legal requirements change.
Questions about this policy can be sent to sales@thewitgroup.co.uk with “Cookie policy enquiry” in the subject line, or posted to The WIT Group Ltd, Brook House, Moss Grove, Kingswinford, England, DY6 9HS.
